Only 15.10 miles from 2,000!

Hey y'all! 
OMG y'all this last week of walking has been AMAZING! My knee is FINALLY starting to feel back to normal and I'm slowly starting to see the mile times I was seeing before this whole tendinitis issues began back in June! After getting in over three miles for the day on Thursday I decided to take it somewhat "easy" with my walkin on Friday... And still managed to get in 2.75 miles for the day... Which put me at 17.03 miles for the week!!! Y'all that is the highest amount of miles I have had since the beginning of June!! I was hitting between 17-18 miles almost every week last year with no problem but this year it hasn't been as easy! So to see that number again makes me one happy girl!! 







But the thing that made me the most happy.... The fact that with thanks to that 17.03 miles I am now only 15.10 miles from hitting one of my biggest goals of the year... Hitting 2,000 miles walked since November of 2016!!! I've had some people say "Why is that such a big deal?"... It's a big deal because NO ONE(Not even my parents!) ever thought that I would be able to accomplish that! I was the girl that doctors said would NEVER walk! For a while no one was sure if I would even be able to stand on my own!! I'm defying all the odds the doctors set against just by walking on my own!! That's why hitting 2,000 is such a HUGE deal! It honestly makes me emotional just thinking about the fact that by this time next week I will be able to say I conquered 2,000 miles!! 



And not to be forgotten is the second BIG goal I had for 2019... To conquer my TENTH 5K!!! And as of today I am only THREE weeks from CONQUERING that goal!!! I am right on track to make 2019 my biggest year of walkin yet!! It's gonna be a BIG couple of weeks y'all!! Stay tuned!!
