97.60 miles from 2,000 miles!!

Hey y'all!
So this has been one AMAZING week of walkin! I knew at the beginning of the week if I could push myself I would hit 1,900 miles before the end of the walkin week.. So you better believe that is exactly what I did! And it totally paid off because on Thursday morning I hit that magic number! But it definitely wasn't easy at all! Since I had pushed myself so hard the first half of the week when it came time to push and hit the last 2.80 miles my body was not having it! I knew when I started the walk that it was definitely going to be a struggle to finish.. But I was t about to just give up! I told myself it didn't matter how slow I went or how many times I had to stop  I was hitting 2,000 miles! And that is exactly what I did! Surprisingly I didn't have to stop a rest a whole lot but I was SUPER slow! But I pushed thru and hit 1,900 miles walked since November of 2016!!! I was definitely excited about this milestone but to be honest I was even more excited about the fact that it put me 100 MILES from my biggest goal of the summer.. Hitting 2,000 miles! I have had some people ask me if I would stop this journey once I hit 2,000... The is HECK NO! I'm just getting started! 2,000 miles is just one of my HUGE goals for 2019! Trust me this journey is just gettin started!

After hitting 1,900 I took the night off to give my little legs a rest... But Friday it was back on to get in my final push for the week! This was definitely a SUPER easy day of walkin(and also SUPER slow🙈)! I knew what I needed to get to 17 miles for the week and I made it happen and am finishing the week with 17.01 miles!!! Oh and as of this morning I am only 97.60 miles from 2,000!!! Not bad for a little girl who doctors said would NEVER walk!

Y'all as of this morning we are exactly TEN weeks from 5K number TEN!! I can't even believe I am saying that! July and August are going to be BIG months of walkin and I can't wait to share this journey with y'all!! #IAMSpinaBifidaSTRONG
