17.16 miles for the week!!

Hey y'all!! 
So last weekend I did a little figuring and came to the conclusion that as long as I can hit between 16-18 miles every week for the next couple weeks I should hit 2,000 miles by the end of July... So that's exactly what I plan to do! Thanks to being able to hit 17.16 miles this week I am now only 114.60 from 2,000! Y'all how crazy is it that by this time next week I will be UNDER 100 miles from 2,000!! 



This week has been an AMAZING week of walking! No I didn't hit 3 miles or even 4 miles.... But I have been able to have some of the BEST 1-2 mile times on the treadmill that I have EVER had! If you have been following this blog or know me personally you know I have not been a very big fan of the treadmill this last year! But something clicked this week and I feel like I have FINALLY CONQUERED that darn treadmill!! 









After going harder than ever on the treadmill earlier this week my legs were pretty much DONE this morning! But I was bound and determined to get just one more mile in... No matter how long it took me! It definitely wasn't the fastest 1.03 miles I have walked but it put me at 17.16 miles for the week so I am ending this week EXTREMELY proud! 





Oh and another BIG thing happened this week.... I am now OFFICIALLY signed up for the Forrest Spence 5K(A.K.A 5K number TEN!)! Exactly 11 weeks from today it's GO TIME to tackle my TENTH 5K!! I AM Spina Bifida STRONG!!
