16.17 miles for the week!!

Hey y'all! 
The heat is on here in Mississippi! Literally and figuratively! It's been a little bit of a slow week for me walking wise. It took me till halfway thru the week to even get a 2 miler in! My body has definitely been tired and sore and adjusting to walkin in the heat again hasn't been real fun either! But I pushed thru it! 



At the beginning of the week I set a goal for myself "Get to at least 16 miles for the week!"! Now on a normal week I would have hit that Friday night... But this week was a STRUGGLE and when I looked at my mileage on Friday I was just under a mile from 16😞 My Saturday was SUPER busy but I told myself no matter what I was going to get that last mile I needed in! So I woke up early on Saturday and did just that! It definitely was t the fastest mile I have ever had but I was proud of the fact that I didn't just give up and not give it one last push to hit 16 miles! 



As of today we are just under FOUR weeks from me doing something I NEVER thought I would do.... Walk in my TENTH 5K! Y'all when I started this whole journey I didn't even think I could conquer 1 and now I'm about to conquer my TENTH! Oh and not to mention as of this morning I am only 165.90 miles from 2,000 miles walked since NOVEMBER of 2016!!! It's definitely gonna be one BIG summer of walkin!! Stay tuned..
