15.23 miles for the week!

Hey y'all! 
So if you read last weeks blog you may remember where I said that I was going to go harder than last week'where I walked just over 16 miles.... Well that didn't quite pan out! My body is still struggling a little more than I expected to get back into a walkin routine after being on vacation. My back was SUPER stiff for the first half of the week and that unfortunately made for a few not so pleasant walk. As disappointing as the first half of the week was I definitely bounced back in a big way the second half of the week! But it was a little to late mileage wise. But hey I still walked 15.23 miles for the week and that is pretty darn good in my book! 



Today has been a rainy/stormy day here in Mississippi. Which meant it was a treadmill walkin morning! And y'all I was SO happy with how this walk felt! I felt like myself again!! The best part was that I made it 2 miles!!! 





As of today we are exactly TWO weeks from the Bad Dog 5K and the push is on this week to get this body back to being 5K ready!! I am so excited to be able to say I conquered my NINTH 5K!!! So bring on the new walking week!!
