Back at EIGHTEEN miles for the week!!

Hey y'all! 
OMG this week has been SO challenging but SO AMAZING! The week started off slightly slow but definitely kicked in to HIGH gear Wednesday morning... When I got back to 3.10 miles for the first time in TWO months! It also happened to be the farthest I have EVER walked on a treadmill!! It was such a proud moment for me! 



At the beginning of the week I set two BIG goals for myself.. 1)Get back to 3.10 miles and 2)Get back to 18 miles for the week !!! Well we know that I CONQUERED the 3.10 miles but did I get to 18 miles for the week... You bet I did! Yesterday I looked at my mileage so far for the week and I figured out I would need to hit 2.02 miles if I wanted to hit 18 for the week... And I made it happen! Now don't get me wrong it was not as easy walk AT ALL!! My body is definitely SO tired and incredibly sore.. I mean this is the hardest I have pushed my body since probably October! But I out my headphones on, hunkered down and Got.It.DONE! Not going to lie when I realize I had accomplished getting back to 18 miles I teared up! I'm so darn proud of myself for everything I have CONQUERED this week!





So here we are EXACTLY four weeks from me walkin in my SEVENTH 5K AND we are only five weeks from my EIGHTH and I gotta tell you I'm feeling confident as EVER! Hopefully this momentum continues! I AM SPINA BIFIDA STRONG!! 🎗🎗
