First day of walking since the 5K...ROUGH!
Hey y’all! So I’m not sure if it was the heat or maybe my body is still tired from all the hills Saturday... But today’s walks were ROUGH! This morning started out great! I felt energized and thought it was going to be a great walk... till about half a mile in when I started to slow way down... My legs felt like they had 50lbs weights attached to them! BUT I didn’t let myself cut the walk short and actually got in .02 miles more then I had planned by hitting 1.52 miles!!

Tonight was rough from the beginning! I debated if I was even going to go as far as I did! Now somehow I was faster this time(Not by much but it still counts!) but it was not a pleasant walk AT ALL! But I didn’t cry and managed to get in the full 1.50 miles so I guess we will take that as a win!
So that’s 3.02 miles to start the week... I’ll take it! Now it’s time to take some Ibuprofen and get into bed and just relax the rest of the night! Night y’all!!
